Live Expert Applications Engineer
The engineer will work with the team responsible for creating and maintaining the Live Expert suite of videoconferencing customer service applications.
Applicants should possess strong understanding of industry standard software development practices,including developing for highly available and secure environments, appropriate documentation skills and classic development lifecycle structure.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Experience with Java, C++, C# and/or .NET frameworks and languages.
- Two or more years experience designing, constructing and testing custom applications for business.
- Development experience with a range of application types:
- Windows desktop applications
- Web-based HTML interface applications, including Ajax techniques and models
- Web-service (SOAP, plain XML over HTTP and/or REST) interfaces
- Bonus: Real-time video and voice applications
- Demonstrated experience in the following technologies:
- Operating systems: Windows 2000/XP/2003 and Linux
- Internet protocols and services: HTTP/S, RTP, ICE (for NAT-Traversal), VPN (PPTP and L2TP)
- Network architecture, including security and WAN telecommunications
- Two or more examples of complete software development life cycle projects.
- Customer-facing experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and efficient, productive work habits
