ClairVista LLC provides advanced software solutions and technology services for emerging retail business models. In 2004, ClairVista led the development of Redbox automated DVD rental machine & systems for McDonald’s. Redbox is a network of highly sophisticated, self-service machines with a central server application that manages customer relations, content, inventory, pricing, payment, and machine diagnostics. Redbox machines are currently being installed at thousands of McDonald’s, grocery and drug store locations.
Chris Sang, ClairVista’s CEO, has served on the Board and as the Chairman of the Audit Committee for Retek, a $170 million retail enterprise software company, and recently joined the Board of Junction Solutions, a provider of ERP systems built on the Microsoft Dynamics AX platform. Prior to starting ClairVista, he was the Founder and CEO of iFulfillment, a distribution services and supply chain systems company with retail clients such as Nordstrom, Martha Stewart, Wilsons Leather, and Ann Taylor. Prior to iFulfillment, he served as the COO/Board Member of Scotty’s Home Market and CFO of Ulta Cosmetics & Salon.
Chris Woods, ClairVista’s CTO, began his career with Andersen Consulting and subsequently held technology leadership positions for various distribution and retail companies. He is one of the foremost experts in the industry for remote customer interaction systems. As the technology lead for ClairVista’s consulting team, he managed the software selection and development for McDonald’s Redbox automated DVD rental machines.
